KATHRYN BARROW, LCSW, CHt
For the past several years, I've worked hard to continually learn and grow both personally and professionally and want to help others do the same. For some time now, I've known I wanted to expand my services to reach and help more people.
As a mental health clinician, it's increasingly clear to me that the general public is experiencing an unprecedented mental health crises. Resources are limited and often too expensive.
I've worked hard to create simple, convenient, and affordable workshops and tools to support others, not only with their mental health concerns but their relationships as well. I feel passionately about helping others find the deep inner healing they deserve. With Hypnotherapy, I'm able to hold space for my clients to fully release negative and unwanted thoughts, emotions, behaviors and core beliefs that are no longer serving them.
My virtual workshops offer flexibility, convenience and an opportunity for clients to receieve therapeutic support on a less intensive scale. I knew that if I equipted others with tools, and knowledge to understand themselves and others, I could positively impact the lives of many.
To get where I am today took hard work, perseverance and dedication. I earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Montana and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Walla Walla University. Following this, I obtained my license in clinical social work (LCSW) then began working primarily with children and adolescents, in the Flathead Valley. After three years working for agencies and feeling like I wasn't "doing enough", I decided to take a leap of faith and open my very own private practice. Since then, I have made it my mission to follow my heart and passion for helping people overcome the core of their trauma so they live happier and more fullfilling lives.
I recently earned a double certification in Hypnotherapy in an effort to enhance client inner healing. Hypnotherapy has been scientifically proven to allow clients more effective results in a shorter amount of time, with greater long-term success in comparison to traiditional therapy or counseling services.
Together, my clients and I work toward increasing knowledge, learning new and more effective tools, identifying triggers, processing, releasing, extignguishing negative core beliefs and emotions, learning positive coping skills and incorporating mindfulness into their daily lives. These skills and more are provided in the therapeutic services I offer; allowing my clients a deeper dive into understanding and processing their trauma and negative core beliefs that hold them back from reaching their full potential."
